Postcard Sized Masterpieces on Sale Supporting Artists Worldwide

International non-profit arts organisation ArtCan will host another edition of it’s popular annual fundraiser ‘From ArtCan With Love’, at Bermondsey Project Space in London Bridge on 23rd July.

From ArtCan with Love is a one-night-only event offering postcard sized contemporary artworks donated by ArtCan artist members worldwide. Hundreds of unique pieces will be available for just £40 each.

Kate Enters, Founder and Director of ArtCan, says:

“This event is not only a wonderful way to support our vibrant programme for artists across the globe, but an excellent chance to begin or add to your art collection without breaking the bank.

We fundamentally believe that art can and should be as accessible as possible. We are a non-profit organisation, entirely volunteer led. We do not charge membership fees, nor do we take commission on sales during our exhibitions.

This event and our other fundraising efforts mean that we can continue to build and support a passionate artistic community worldwide, providing a platform where artists can collaborate and flourish. Each and every sale through From ArtCan With Love means that we can continue to grow and provide even better opportunities for our artists to continue their professional and creative development.”

From ArtCan with Love will once again take place at Bermondsey Project Space, from 6pm – 8pm on Tuesday 23rd July, with a live stream available for those who are unable to make it in person but would still like to secure affordable, original artworks to support this brilliant cause.

Those who have joined ArtCan’s supporter scheme as a Friend of ArtCan will be able to access the event ahead of the crowd and purchase their favourites first – one of the brilliant perks of becoming a Friend, for as little as £30 per year. About ArtCan

ArtCan is an artist-led, non-profit arts organisation with members across Britain and internationally. ArtCan’s work is supported by the efforts of artist-member volunteers, contributions from Founder Friends and Friends of ArtCan and with the valued guidance of the Board of Trustees.

ArtCan has expertise in producing collaborative art exhibitions in London, across Britain and internationally. The exhibitions complement the work of established galleries by enabling talent to gain experience and skills. ArtCan work with galleries, but also seeks new spaces where art becomes a part of everyday life and with the aim of involving audiences in an organic and personal way.

ArtCan’s artist-centred ethos means that the model does not involve charging membership fees or commissions on sales, to help artists focus on developing a sustainable practice.

About Bermondsey Project Space

Bermondsey Project Space is a not-for-profit platform supporting artists to exhibit work on their own terms.

BPS hosts around 40 exhibitions and projects each year, alongside a vibrant programme of performance events, music evenings, talks and film screenings. These take place at the fully accessible venue on Bermondsey Street, one of London’s premier arts destinations, adjacent to White Cube.

The Gallery’s ethos is to support creatives to achieve the next milestone in the development of their practice, giving physical space to practitioners with exciting ideas and something to say. BPS works closely with exhibitors at every stage of their projects, and is happy to accept project proposals at any stage of their development.
