ArtCan is an artist-led, non-profit arts organisation with members across Britain and internationally. ArtCan’s work is supported by the efforts of artist-member volunteers, contributions from Founder Friends and Friends of ArtCan, and with the valued guidance of our Board of Trustees.
ArtCan’s artist-centred ethos means that our model does not involve charging membership fees or commissions on sales, to help artists focus on developing a sustainable practice. The resources, exhibitions and specialist knowledge we provide are all available to our members free of charge, and so we regularly fundraise to continue our work.

Become a ‘Friend of ArtCan’
Our ‘Friends of ArtCan’ members are a circle of our closest supporters, and we provide them with extra-special access to our exhibitions, artists, and special events. Whether with pre-opening private views, studio tours with artists, or members-only networking events, we hope this group of supporters will believe fervently in what ArtCan is doing and achieving in today’s society.
