16th – 28th APRIL 2024
Anteros Art Foundation, 11-15 Fye Bridge Street, Norwich, NR3 1LJ
Curators: ArtCan East Anglia
ArtCan is pleased to present Passing Through, an exhibition of eleven ArtCan East Anglia artists.
The artists share the belief that ‘we mark our time here through our experiences and imagination in our work.’ Each artist asks the questions: How do we see? How do we experience the world? How do we interpret our external and internal landscapes? The exhibition brings artists’ individual responses together to sit side by side from across East Anglia to the Anteros Arts Foundation Gallery in Norwich.
The exhibition is located both in the front room and the main gallery for visitors and it is free entry.
EXHIBITION RUN: 16th APRIL – 28th APRIL 2024

About ArtCan
ArtCan is an artist-led, non-profit arts organisation with members across Britain and internationally. ArtCan’s work is supported by the efforts of artist-member volunteers and contributions from donations and Friends of ArtCan. ArtCan works with galleries, but also seeks new spaces where art becomes a part of everyday life and with the aim of involving audiences in an organic and personal way.
ArtCan’s artist-centred ethos means that the model does not involve charging membership fees or commissions on sales, to help artists focus on developing a sustainable practice.
ArtCan East Anglia is a regional group of 20 artists with widely differing practices but all linked by our Artcan affiliation / membership. We are painters, printmakers, sculptors, and photographers and our work encompasses the purely abstract to highly figurative and everything in between.
Anteros Arts Foundation is a charity dedicated to the promotion and teaching of the arts in Norfolk. Anteros believes that art is fundamental to people’s wellbeing and that it should be accessible to everyone.
