Fastest Fingers First to Snap Up Postcard Sized Original Artworks as ‘From ArtCan With Love’ Fundraiser Returns

International non-profit arts organisation ArtCan will host their third online postcard fundraiser on 22nd June 2022.

From ArtCan with Love is a one-night-only event offering unique postcard sized contemporary artworks donated by their members, raising funds for their vibrant programme of events and exhibitions.

It will be ‘fastest fingers first’ to bag one of more than 100 unique pieces for just £40 (including delivery) – an excellent chance to begin or add to your art collection without breaking the bank.

All funds raised help to support ArtCan’s growing international community of artists to create, curate and collaborate on both physical and virtual exhibitions around the globe.

Georgia Prowting-Lord, ArtCan Trustee and host for From ArtCan with Love, says:

“As a non-profit organisation entirely volunteer led, ArtCan do not take commission during our exhibitions; instead selected artists pay a small set fee towards the costs of putting on a show. We aim to keep these costs to a minimum by getting sponsorship wherever possible and by raising funds through fundraising activities. 100% of the profits from this event will go to fund future ArtCan exhibitions and events.”

Kate Enters, Founder and Director of ArtCan, says:

“We adapted the format for our annual fundraiser in response to the pandemic, and this has helped us reach an even wider audience of art lovers who want to support us and our members. Each and every sale means that we can continue to grow and provide even better opportunities for our artists to continue their professional and creative development.”

From ArtCan with Love will take place from 6.30pm GMT on Wednesday 22nd June. To register for your free ticket, head to Eventbrite now: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/from-artcan-with-love-2022-tickets-291218039997

Those who have joined ArtCan’s supporter scheme as a Friend of ArtCan will be able to access the full catalogue of postcard submissions ahead of the crowd and purchase their favourites first – one of the brilliant perks of becoming a Friend, for as little as £30 per year.

ABOUT ARTCAN

ArtCan is an artist-led, non-profit arts organisation with members across Britain and internationally. ArtCan’s work is supported by the efforts of artist-member volunteers, contributions from Founder Friends and Friends of ArtCan and with the valued guidance of the Board of Trustees.

ArtCan has expertise in producing collaborative art exhibitions in London, across Britain and internationally. The exhibitions complement the work of established galleries by enabling talent to gain experience and skills. ArtCan works with galleries, but also seeks new spaces where art becomes a part of everyday life and with the aim of involving audiences in an organic and personal way.

ArtCan’s artist-centered ethos means that the model does not involve charging membership fees or commissions on sales, to help artists focus on developing a sustainable practice.

SUPPORTING ARTCAN FINANCIALLY

ArtCan is a volunteer-led organisation funded primarily by exhibition fees, sponsorship and our ‘Friends of ArtCan’. Our Friends are a circle of our closest supporters who believe fervently in what we are doing and achieving in today’s society. They provide key, reliable funding to the organisation and in return, we provide them with access to our exhibitions, artists and special events (for example, pre-opening private views, studio tours with artists, or members-only networking events – in person and/or online). Levels of support range from £30 to £1,000.

To join this dynamic group of supporters, check our Friends of ArtCan page for the level which is right for you or contact Membership Director Hannah Pratt at friends@artcan.org.uk for full details.
