Adrian Room was educated at the Österlen School of Art and Design. In addition to painting, he has previously worked in interior design. He is the recipient of Yngve Andréns Minnesfond’s grant in 2021, issued by Tomelilla Konstsamling.

His paintings are an expression of his own emotions and thoughts in the present moment, in the past, or about our future. Often in abstract form, they sometimes also incorporate figurative elements that fluctuate between being chaotic and serene with order and balance.

Adrian works in multiple layers, and there are usually several explorations within the final image. This process results from the image revealing different paths to take during its creation, and his curiosity leads him to discover where these paths might lead.
