My art practice is intuitive, rooted in universal energy and the interconnectedness of all things. I see destruction as transformation—birthing something new. My work explores humanity’s relationship with nature, focusing on resilience, grieving, and growth. I find beauty in the contrast between rigid structures and organic forms, using this tension as a metaphor for the human experience.

Central to my practice is post-traumatic growth—the resilience that emerges from grief. I reflect this journey, inviting viewers to confront their own loss and healing. Natural elements like trees, hands, and roots symbolize endurance, renewal, and connection. I collect broken, discarded objects and reassemble them, mirroring life’s mending process. My tactile process involves layering, burning, and raw textures, emphasizing the bond between hand and material.

“Grief Letter” invites people worldwide to share loss stories, which I respond to through various media, fostering empathy and healing. This project stems from my experience caring for my father with dementia. My latest work, Letters to Forever, expands into immersive exhibitions and workshops on grief, focusing on the Ukrainian community and those affected by dementia. Using muted greys, greens, and maroons, I evoke loss, decay, and renewal, reflecting life’s fragility and the resilience that follows.
