I've been a member of ArtCan since 2016 and really enjoy the community of artists. I am part of the Green Team, Philanthropic Programme and Advisory Committee, working with the other members to help create great opportunites for us all.
As an exhibiting artist since 1995, some of my highlights have been exhibiting in St Paul's Cathedral in London, the Royal College of Art and speaking about the Role of Art in the Environment at COP25 Madrid.
As I apeak Spanish and French, my work as an interpreter and translator has influenced my art, as I have travelled widely and am constantly inspired by people's resiliance, courage and kindness, in even the harshest circumstances. I have interpreted for refugees and listened to their stories and they are one of the reasons I have been a supporter of human rights and the environment, and a member of Amnesty International for over 30 years.
